Analytical Applications of UV-Visible Spectrometry:

UV-VIS spectrometry gives a technique which might be used to detect one or more elements in a solution and measure the concentration of these species. The basic advantage of this method is that even traces of substances could be determined within a simple way that is not probable with classical analytical methods such as gravimetric and volumetric procedures. Further, UV spectrometry is also used for acquiring structural information of substances; particularly the organic compounds and it might as well help in establishing the identity of a molecule.
