New Velocity Evaluation Scheme
The model utilized for updating velocity and position indicating the intelligence of the swarm. Generally in such a system, the behaviour of particles in the absence of earlier velocity term is the major focus of study. This is observed that in absent of the earlier velocity term, the particles fast converge towards the local optima and stagnate because of the lack of momentum that is the earlier velocity term. At any time a particle gets stagnated in the search space and the velocity vector of the particle is re-initialized along with the random velocity termed as re-initialization velocity. Such process helps in keep away from the premature convergence of the particles. To control or manage excessive roaming of the particles outside the user defined search space, a maximum velocity as vmax is explained. Thus, when vi,j exceeds the explained limit, vi,j velocity is set to as vmax.
