Fatigue stresses:

Fatigue stresses are because of cyclic application of a stress.  A stresses could be because of vibration or thermal cycling. Fatigue stresses are therefore discussed within Module.

The importance of all stresses is raised while the materials supporting them are flawed. Flaws tend to add further stress to a material. Also, while loadings are cyclic or unsteady, stresses could affect a material more severely. The further stresses related along with flaws and cyclic loading might exceed the stress essential for a material to fail.
