This involves all stages that the good passes through after manufacturing to the final consumer. It involves transportation services (road, sea and air), distribution services (wholesale, retail, import and exports) and other auxiliary services such as insurance, banking, advertising and warehousing. It may also be referred to as tertiary production
Direct services:
These involve the services people give directly to members of society. They include the services rendered by teachers, lawyers, the police, the armed forces, doctors, accountants, musicians, etc. These services have indirect impact on the production of goods and services.
