Production Kanbans:

The job of the production Kanbans is to release an order to the preceding procedyu for building more parts. Figure shows the interaction between production and withdrawal Kanbans at three work centres. There is a staging area where the production Kanbans waits for the withdrawal Kanbans to arrive to fetch parts. Also note the withdrawal Kanbans supply the parts into the work center's process exactly where they belong. On the contrary, as the work centre utilizes parts to build its products, its production Kanban shall generate withdrawal Kanbans at the work center's preceding process.
