Controlled potential coulometric analysis (potentiostatic coulometry):

In this method, the potential of the working electrode is held constant, so in which quantitative oxidation or reduction of the analyte occurs. A current is initially high but reduces rapidly and approaches zero at the completion of the reaction. The quantity of electricity is most generally measured through with an electronic integrator or from the reading of a coulometer in series along with the cell.
