Fixed Beam:

A beam rigidly fixed at its both of ends or built-in walls is called as rigidly fixed beam or a built-in beam.

Propped Cantilever

If cantilever beam is supported by a simple support at the free end or in between, is called propped cantilever. It might or might not be having overhanging portion.
