Nickel-Cadmium Cell:

The nickel-cadmium cell is a secondary cell and the electrolyte is potassium hydroxide. A negative electrode is creating of nickel hydroxide and the positive electrode is creating of cadmium hydroxide. A nominal voltage of a nickel-cadmium cell is 1.25 volts. It has the benefits of being a dry cell which is a true storage battery along with a reversible chemical reaction that is it could be recharged. The nickel-cadmium battery is a rugged and dependable battery. It provides dependable service under extreme conditions of shock, temperature, and vibration.
