Wrought Iron Pipes:

Pipes of wrought iron are lighter than cast iron pipes and are easily cut, threaded and worked. Pipes are manufactured by rolling flat plates of the metal to the required diameter and the edges being welded. For protection against corrosion, they are galvanised with zinc coating and are known as "galvanised iron pipes". Due to easy workability, they are used for water distribution lines inside buildings. Those are found to be costlier and less durable as compared to cast iron pipes.
