Globoidal Cams:
The globoidal cam contains either a convex or a concave surface. The circumferential contour is cut over the surface of the cam. This imparts motion to the follower by rotating around its axis. These cams are illustrated in Figures (a) and (b). This cam may be designed to give angle of oscillation of the follower.
