Turn Ratio

• It is the ratio of number of turns in transformer in the primary to the number of turns in the secondary.
• For instance, the step down transformer indicated has a turn ratio of 4:1 that means there are four turns in the primary against each of turn in the secondary.

• The turn ratio of the transformer is equivalent to the voltage ratio of the two components, So
