Power Transformer

Power transformers are used in electronic circuits and come in several different categories and applications. Power transformers or Electronics are sometimes assumed to be those along with ratings of 300 volt-amperes and below. These transformers generally give power to the power supply of an electronic device, like as in power amplifiers in audio receivers.

Control Transformer

Control transformers are commonly used in electronic circuits which need constant voltage or constant current along with a low power or volt-amp rating. Several filtering devices, like as capacitors, are used to minimize the variations within the output. That results in a more constant voltage or current.
