Each tool magazine is loaded by two different types of tools. In addition, each of these tools is duplicated as displayed in below figure.

Benefits of Tool Storage Policy 2

1. A backup set of tool is available.

2. Each NC program is stored in one machine.

3. There is an easy tool handling system.

Drawbacks of Tool Storage Policy 2

1. More than one set of similar tool is required.

2. A backup machine is not available.

3. There is a high need for tool magazine capacity.
