Balance:
The primary requirement of an automatic recording balance are involves accuracy, reproducibility, sensitivity, and capacity. Recording balances are of two categories, null point and deflection kind. The null type balance, that is more hugely used, incorporates a sensing component that detects a deviation of the balance beam from its null position; the sensor detects the deviation and triggers the restoring force to bring the balance beam to back to the null position. The restoring force is straight proportional to the mass change. Deflection balance of the beam type include the conversion of the balance beam deflection about the fulcrum into a appropriate mass - change trace through (a) photographic recoding that is modify in path of a reflected beam of light available of photographic recording, (b) recording electrical signals produced through an appropriate displacement measurement transducer, and (c) using an electro- chemical device. The various balances used in TG instruments are having measuring range from 0.0001 mg to 1 g depending on sample containers used.
