Engineering Materials

There may be an endless list whether we wish to tabulate all those materials that are utilized in engineering practice. They may be known by their properties and compositions which will again be too various for description for a text. The materials that are utilized for making machines could form a shorter list and properties such are considered at the design stage may be narrowed down to simply essential. We will first explain and define properties of materials and describe a few significant materials to reduce burden on the reader.
