Measurement of Temperature:

Rare metal alloy like as Pt- (Pt-10-13% Rh) are generally used as thermocouple for measuring the temperature. For higher temperature up to 2000 0C W-Mo thermocouple might also be used. Extremely thin thermocouple is inserted within the sample and reference holder.

Visual galvanometric observations, by inconvenient could also be used while only a few samples are to be investigated. Present day's automatic pen and ink electronic recorder have been searched to be more convenient.
