Framed Structure
In that system, a number of piers or columns are erected on their own independent foundations and are braced together through beams and floors. In that way, the all structure is erected involving the roof, and the gaps among the piers or columns are filled with walls, that are known as 'panel', 'curtain', and 'screen or filler walls'. The function of walls is simply to support their own weight and to serve as a screen for privacy and afford protection against weather effects. The frame carries the whole load on the structure both live and dead.
