Network Centricity
Networking has become an integral category of Unix. The skill to support network logins share files, share information about network configuration and run applications across a network is involved in all the main Unix distributions. Network Centricity is a natural extension of the base operating system which is not an application which is designed through an individual vendor, within idea of administration and networking which has to be purchased separately.
Whenever configured to permit networking, anything which can be done at the console (majorly keyboard and monitor) of a Unix system could also be done at another system by a network connection. (They are passing on to as remote nodes or remote systems.) Really several server systems, like as file servers and Web servers that have to consoles with extremely limited capabilities like as a text-only terminal and are deliberately designed with the idea of doing as much administration as probable from remote nodes outside the data center.
