Cycloidal Motion:
The technique of constructing displacement diagram is as follows :
(a) Divide the displacement interval into equivalent portions say 6 or 8.
(b) Draw diagonal of the diagram & extend it below 0.
(c) Draw a circle having centre on the diagonal line on extended portion along radius equivalent to.
(d) Divide the circle into similar number of equivalent parts as in (a).
(e) Project the points on the circle to the vertical diameter of it and these points on the diameter are projected parallel to the diagonal to the equivalent ordinate and join these points to obtain displacement diagram.
