                        When only current source is active

            Assume I₀ be the current passing through the 6k resistor then

                                    2kII4k= (2x4)/ (2+4) =8/6= (4/3) k

                                         (4/3) k is in series from 2k

             (4/3) k+2kII6k, therefore by applying current division rule

            When only voltage source is active
