The responsibilities of Disaster Management Groups up to the State stages are described below:

Central Level Disaster Management Group (CDMG)

Responsibilities

1          For facilitate development of comprehensive disaster management plan and policy formulations at the national level.

2          For facilitate support from other national and state level agencies.

3          For coordinate the assistance in terms of human resources and materials at the national level.

4          For act as information source desk for all related developments in the event of a disaster.
