Treatment of Wood Work

Wood work that is badly damaged through termites should be replaced through new timber that is adequately brushed or dipped in oil or kerosene based chemical emulsion. The infected wood will be used for door and window frames and etc. should be provided protective treatment through drilling 6 mm diameter holes at 150 mm centre to centre at a downward angle of 45^o to cover the whole framework and thereafter pumping oil based chemical emulsion within the holes. The wood work that is not attacked through termites should be sprayed over along with chemical emulsion to avoid possible attack.
