Spring Operated Stripper

This category of stripper is also known as pressure pad stripper. Its major advantage over other stripper is which it carry the strip flat during the operation. Spring operated stripper is display in Figure.

Spring operated stripper is commonly mounted on socket head stripper bolts. Spring stripper might also be mounted on rods. To minimize the bending, length of the rod should give adequate support to the inner diameter of the spring. This is achieved through pressing a dowel of proper diameter and length into one plate and drilling a clearance hole in other plate to gives passage for dowel to pass by other plate.
