Nucleophiles and Electrophiles:

Most organic reactions include in the reaction among a molecule that is rich in electrons and a molecule that is deficient in electrons. The reaction includes the creation of a new bond in which the electrons are provided through the electron-rich molecule. Electron-rich molecules are termed as nucleophiles (means nucleus- loving). The easiest nucleophiles to make out are negatively charged ions along with lone pairs of electrons (for example the hydroxide ion), but neutral molecules can also work as nucleophiles if they consist of electron-rich functional groups (for example an amine).
