Bucket Steam Trap:

A bucket steam trap is described in Figure below figure. Since condensate enters the trap body then the bucket floats. The valve is linked to the bucket in like a way in which the valve closes as the bucket rises. As condensate continues to flow into the trap body then the valve remains closed until the bucket is full. While the bucket is full, it sinks and therefore opens the valve. The valve remains open until sufficient condensate has passed out to permit the bucket to float and ending the valve.
