Risk Checklist

The following risk item checklist identifies generic risk associated with different customers.

1. Have you worked with the customer in the previous time ?
2. Does the customer have a strong idea of what is needed? Has the customer spent the time to write it down?
3. Will the customer is agreeing to spend their time in formal requirements gathering meetings to identify project scope?
4. Is the customer is willing to participate in reviews?
5. Is the customer is technically sophisticated in the product area?
6. Is the customer is willing to let your people do their job which is the customer resist looking over your shoulder during technically detailed work?
7. Does the customer understand the software procedure?

If the answer of these questions is no further investigation should be undertaken to assess risk potential.
