Quality Assurance

Quality assurance consists of the reporting and auditing functions of management. The main target of quality assurance is to give management with the data necessary to be informed about product quality, thus gaining insight and confidence which product quality is meeting its targets. Of course, if the data provided by quality assurance identify problems it is management's responsibility to address the problems and submit the necessary resources to resolve quality issues.
