Process maturity level 5
Each of the KPAs is describe through a group of key practices which contribute to satisfying its target. The key practices are policies, process, and activities that must occur before a key procedure field has been fully instituted. The SEI describes key indicators as those key practices or components of key practices which offer the greatest insight into whether the targets of a key process area have achieved. Assessment questions are designed to probe for the existence (or lack thereof) of a key indicator.
