Real-Time Software

Programs that monitor or analyze or control real world events as they occur are called as real-time software. Elements of real-time software are include a data gathering component that collects and formats information from an external environment an analysis component that transforms information as needed through the application a control  or output component that responds to the external environment so that real-time response (typically ranging from 1 millisecond to 1 minute) and can be maintained. It should be examining that the word real-time different from interactive or timesharing. A real-time system must respond within the strict time constraints. The response time of a time-sharing system or interactive can normally be exceeded without disastrous results.
