Determining the Process Sequence for Major Operations
The primary concern of process engineer is to plan for major process operations. The terminal operations must be established before the rest of operation sequence can be planned. The end point of the process is established by part print as it depicts the part in its final condition. How the material should be received is also stated in the material specifications. The condition of the material as it is received must be known as it is vital in setting up the initial machining operations.
