Within the UNIX operating system the file access through users is controlled within respect to the owner, group and others.
Specify Owner Group and Others
The word user refers to the owner of the file (who created the file) and the term group is the group (or groups, in the case of secondary groups) to that the owner belongs. Another belongs types involve all users except the owner and the members in the owner group who have access permission in the system
