Sampling of Liquids:
For liquid samples, cuvettes along with fixed path lengths as well as of variable path lengths are commercially available. Cuvettes of less than 0.01 mm thickness are made of sodium chloride or potassium bromide rectangular plates sealed through gaskets and clamped together as depicted in Figure (b). A drop of liquid is squeezed among the NaCl/KBr plates that are put in a cuvettes scanned and holder.
