Sheet Pile Walls

These walls are made up from a series of interlocking piles individually driven within the foundation soil. Many modern sheet pile walls are made of steel. Sometimes timber or precast concrete sections are also used.

Cantilever sheet pile walls are held in the ground through the active and passive pressures which act on its lower part (Figure ).
