Properties of Integral Control:
The main benefits of integral controllers are in which they have the unique ability to return the controlled variable back to the exact setpoint subsequent a disturbance.
Drawback of the integral control mode is in which it responds associatively slowly to an error signal and in which it could initially permitted a huge deviation at the instant the error is generated. This could lead to system instability and cyclic operation. For this purpose, the integral control mode is not generally used alone, but is merged along with another control mode.
