Synchronization

It's quite often likely that in an automated manufacturing environment either part wait for resources or resources wait for proper parts to arrive. It leads to the whole product assembly only along with proper synchronization. Such phenomenon is presented by Petri net as shown in following figure (d).

In the below figure shown, unless a token appears at place p₁, the transition t₁ will not fire.
