Polynomial Fitting
It gives one variable like a function of another. If n is the degree of the polynomial after that n + 1 data points are needed to determine the equation.
Linear Equation (First Degree Polynomial)
y = f (x) = a0 + a1 x
that means y0 = a0 + a1 x0 and y1 = a0 + a1 x1
Therefore a0 and a1 values might be obtained by using 2 data points. If the two data points are P1 (x1 y1) & P2 (x2 y2).
