Antibody Synthesis
Antibodies are gamma globulin proteins which have sugar collections attached to amino acid chains. They can be divided as glycoproteins. The most primary form is the immunoglobulin monomer that has only one immunoglobulin unit. The Antibodies can also appear in dimeric forms with two immunoglobulin unit’s tetrameric form with four immunoglobulin units or even pentameric form with five immunoglobulin units.
Immunoglobulin G, the most general kind of antibody, consists of 4 chains. There are 2 light chains and two heavy chains. Two heavy chains are bound together through a disulfide bond (S-S), and the two light chains are bound to the heavy chain through disulfide bonds. Together, they roughly form a Y shape. Fusion Antibodies are proud to offer Antibody Isotype switching as a service. By Using our own technology and in-house expertise we are able to able to change any antibody isotype from any species to any Human IgG Isotype.
