Instrumentation:

Upto this point we have refreshed some of the basic concepts of gas chromatography and understood the significance of different terms affecting the efficiency of separations. But the separations of the desired level are achieved through the optimum performance of every component of the instrument. Figure shows schematically, the necessary elements, of a chromatograph.
