Object-based Data Model
Object-based models are classified as three categories:
• Binary model
• Entity-Relationship model
• Infological Model
The broadly accepted model is the Entity-Relationship model. It has gained the acceptance as the ideal model for any database design. In 1976 Peter Chen first introduced the Entity-Relationship model. It is stand on a perception of the real world things that represent information. E-R model helps in database design by a better conception and arrangement. Via the E-R model, the application developer can look forward to afoolproof data definition and table design incorporating the real world application functionality completely.
