Punches Mounted in Punch Plate

Punch plates are used to hold & position the punch. The punch plate is also used to increase the strength of punch. Perforated punch has rounded head & shank; hence they are simply mounted in punch plates. Rectangular or odd shaped punches are not simply mounted in punch plates.
