Constant Specific Volume Lines:

The constant specific volumes lines are inclined obliquely straight lines & regularly spaced as illustrated in fig.  These lines are sketch up to the saturation curve. To set up points on a line of constant specific volume, 0.90 m³/kg for instance, from the perfect-gas equation, the specific volume v is following

put 0.90 for v, the barometric pressure for p_t, & at arbitrary values of T solve out for p_s. the pairs of p_s and t values then explained the line of constant v.
