Power Brushing

Brushing is the least utilized of descaling parts, although it is satisfactory for eliminating light rust or loosely adhering scale. This is better suited for workpieces composed from tubing than for forgings and castings. Power brushing methods are discovering additional use as production tools for metal finishing operations. A major advantage of the power brush is that it might be utilized in manual, semi-atuomatic, or integrated methods.

Many brushes are utilized for removing unwanted materials. These include fibre cord, wire,  etc. Wire wheel brushes are best for general purpose jobs and such metals as, stainless steels, steel, nickel alloys, brass, bronze and copper. Cord brushes are utilized with abrasive compounds for polishing, finishing and deburring metal parts.
