Assignment Help: >> Properties of Alkenes And Alkynes - Nucleophilicity

Nucleophilicity:

Alkenes and alkynes are nucleophilic and generally react with electrophiles in a reaction termed as electrophilic addition. The nucleophilic center of the alkene / alkyne is the double bond or triple bond. These are areas of very high electron density because of the bonding electrons. The particular electrons that are employed to form bonds to attacking electrophiles are those included in π bonding.
