Defining Adaptation Criteria
The Adaptation criteria are used to determine the recommended degree of rigor with that the software procedure should be applied on a project. 11 adaptation criteria are described for software projects:
- Number of potential users
- Stability of requirements
- Ease of customer or developer communication
- Maturity of applicable technology
- Non Embedded or embedded characteristics
Each and every of the adaptation criteria is assigned a grade which ranges among one and five where one represents a project in that a small subset of procedure tasks are needed and over all documentation and methodological of needs are minima one and five represents a project in that a overall set of procedure tasks should be applied and overall documentation and methodological needs are substantial
