Project management dimension:
Projects must be
- Delivered on time;
- Within estimated costs; and
- Within the scope envisaged.
Now-a-days, we speak of project management dimension, along with time, cost, scope and quality as the four vertices of a rectangle/square and customer expectations as central theme. No two customer's expectations are the similar. So you must ask what their expectations are.
A project goes by four phases during its life:
1 Project Definition: Defining the goals, objectives and critical success factors for the project.
2 Project Initiation: Everything that is required to set-up the project before work can start.
3 Project Control: Ensuring which a project stays on track and taking appropriate action to ensure it.
4 Project Closure: Disbanding of all the elements which were needed to run the project.
