Correlating Production and Marketing Strategies:
Based upon the combination of types of product, production processes, and finished good inventory policy positioning strategy may be divided into two type viz. pure positioning strategies and mix positioning strategies. This division is shown in Table .The two strategies given in the Table belong to the pure positioning strategies whereas other possible combinations belong to mixed positioning strategies.
