Notes:
i) When the range selector is switched to a new position, it is necessary to check the calibration again. Situate the meter again to read one with the sensitivity control, if any deviation is observed.
ii) The conductivity cell, while not in use, should be kept in distilled water to prevent drying the platinum electrodes.
iii) Within case of fouling the conductivity cell electrode plates, clean them by keeping in dilute K2Cr2O7 containing H2SO4 solution (that is dilute chromic acid) for 24 hours and then washing with running water followed by rinsing with distilled water.
