Queuing

Whenever the print requests are spooled, the jobs are lined up within other jobs which are waiting to be printed. This procedure of lining up of jobs is known as queuing.

Tracking

The print service tracks the status of each job to enable users to remove jobs and system administrators to maintain jobs.

Initialization

The service of print initializes a printer before sending it a print job to ensure which it is in a known state.
