Stock Stops and Automatic Stops
The device through that the strip has to be advanced Stripper after every blanking is known as stock stops. Sometimes dowel pin is used as a stock stop. After each stroke of the press, an edge of previously blanked hole is pushed against a dowel pin. To release the strip from the pin, sufficient clearance is provided in a strip channel to permit the stock to be lifted above the pin during upward stroke of the press. Skilled operator is needed for such type of operation.
