(a) It needs good roads for transporting their products to distant sites without delay and damage.

(b) It becomes hard to produce satisfactory connections between the pre-cast members.

(c) It needs special and heavy equipment to handle their products at site as well as at factory.

(d) Pre-cast concrete needs standardized designs and massive repetitive type of construction to achieve economy.
